(4) C: Cor! Instead of running the whole way, what about catching a ride on a chocobo instead? I'll show you the way!
(6) C: He was ecstatic, said it was perfect for training...
(1) L: Damn it...Cor, that wretched Lucian scum...
C: Hm?
(2) C: Hello there, young man. Would you happen to be a fan of The Immortal?

L: And who the hell are you?!
(4) C: Why did he just explode?
H: Isn't that his shtick?
L: Glory to the Empire!
(5) C: So this is it. I must leave one final message before I go.

L: Won't that make the King of Lucis guilty...?
Umbra and Pryna's Snack Time
Episode 15: Cor's Youth
Umbra: Cor first joined the Crownsguard when he was 13.
Pryna: While he grew up in a not so well-off household, he was recognized for his exceptional physical capabilities and underwent advanced combat training following his enlistment. At 15, he was appointed as then King Mors' youngest bodyguard, and had criticized Regis for his retreat from Accordo, calling him a "coward" to his face.
Umbra: He had more of a rebellious streak than I thought.
Pryna: Impressed, Regis brought Cor with him to the battlefield.
Umbra: Cor fought in tons of battles alongside Regis, Clarus, and Cid. During all this fighting, Regis also took in Drautos, who was orphaned in the war.
Pryna: Eventually the Wall shrunk back to the Crown City, and battles played out for time broke out throughout the surrounding land. Cid opposed dragging in innocent citizens into their fight, but it continued, leading him to part ways with Regis, never to return to Insomnia again.
Umbra: This isn't really related, but why does Loqi hold such animosity toward Cor?
Pryna: Born into a military family, Loqi was brought up to be ambitious in his rise up the ranks. He grew up hearing Cor's name--one that echoed across the land--and gradually began to view him as his rival.
Umbra: And so that's how defeating Cor became his goal.
Pryna: Meanwhile, Cor doesn't seem to pay Loqi any mind; Loqi's just one-sidedly getting riled up hearing about his exploits.
Umbra: Cor's got the epic nickname of "The Immortal," too!
Pryna: But for somebody who reappears no matter how many times he's caught in an explosion, I must say Loqi's quite formidable himself...
